In this 1-hour assessment, I will take you through a range of tests and exercises to determine how good your personal mobility and motor control is. Both of these have an immense effect on your well-being and your sports performance.
Mobility is your body’s ability to move through it’s full range of motion (this involves both flexibility and strength). Motor control is the interaction between your body’s nervous system and your muscles for creating purposeful and controlled movement.
Poor mobility/motor control can lead to classic issues like back pain, knee pain, tight shoulders, poor posture, etc. It can also severely hamper your progress in the gym, as you can’t perform to your fullest potential with limited mobility or poor motor control.
These assessments can be used as a guide for your personalised workout program, or they can be done as a one-off session, in which case you will receive a corrective strategy for your body’s personal needs.
